I laughed so hard this morning as I was back reading comments from last blog when the 'Corpse' scored twice. Laughing is a great start to the day. Thanks everyone that contributed.

BTW The World Juniors are so much more entertaining to watch right now IMHO. That team Canada is stacked.

Samuel Morin is not getting a lot of ice time. Games are incredibly high paced. Last night was a real burner. Unbelievable entertainment, great hockey. So, when Morin did get on he seemed to get caught by the speed. He made bad clear that resulted in the only goal scored by the Finns.

Watching the past two games it seems noticable that this team lacks any physicality. I know Rinaldo has limitations but he brought something severly lacking on this team. I am not saying he is the answer. I actually would prefer White in over him and Vandevelde but this team just seems soft.

Also again it looks like Matt Read dispeared again. I still hope Hextall is smart and doesnt just sit on his hands at the TDL if a good trade presents itself. There are just some places I think this team can really upgrade.

Berube doesn't believe in the physical game... This team is so boring to watch... Wish emery would spark this team again with an all out brawl

Morin had a decent game other than fanning on a pass. he will be solid once he develops a bit more. However I have been really impressed with Lindblom. This guy will be an NHL player IMO. Kid has alot of hockey sense

I keep reading about how stacked this Canadian teams blueline is. Can someone please list the defensemen drafted higher than Morin on the Team Canada roster other than Darnell Nurse.

Thanks.

They have no heart man. I cant stand to watch it. If they at least fought for every inch, every game.... and lost still. I would feel better.

I don't need an all out brawl. I just need a team playing tougher. People look to Simmonds to provide some physical play but I think the problem with Simmonds is he isn't as naturally skilled. I might be saying it wrong but they need a player like Evander Kane or in that mold. He can snipe, has speed to burn yet in a game like last night he could have really brough some energy with a heavy hit to get things going in the forecheck. But in doing that it isn;t like he is without skill. Simmonds can score on the power play but at ES I haven't seen him really do something to change moment where I think Kane could.

And Yes I know the team has more problems then just that but it is one I have been seeing.

The way I see it... When was the last time Simmonds played with a Center that could get him the puck in a scoring position. Consistantly? He shouldnt be counted on to carry a line. Just finish. IMO

The abysmal PK is the direct fault of the coaches who changed the system to be more aggressive this season. Berube and Lappy both deserve to be fired.

I am not asking him to carry the play. He was supposed to provide some physical pressence. I don't see it. And I know it isn't just Simmonds. It has to be a team thing. But I wouldn't say Simmonds is one of the more natural skill guys like Jake or Claude so I would expect him to provide someother things like a little physicality. Not going after a guy after the whistle or just fighting.

That is why I like kane. He couold change momentum with a hit but he isn't without skill to also do something after that hit. I don't hate Simmonds. Just bringing up something I have been seeing.

Thats what I think. This team has not put in a full effort for one full game all season. There is a lack of character on this team and its a cancer. I'm talking like more than a handful. Management needs to sniff them out and ship em out!!
